Do you or would you use a tablet for actual work?
So, with the updates to iOS 11, it seems that Apple is finally gearing up to put the "Pro' in iPad Pro. And yes, while thus far the machine was really powerful, fast, and gorgeous-looking, its issues with multitasking and the barred-off nature of iOS definitely didn't lend towards a good working experience with the tablet. Unless you are a sketch artist who only uses one or two apps, for example, the Pro felt jarring.

Document seems to reveal a Microsoft built Touch Cover for the Apple iPad
Microsoft debuted the Surface Touch Cover in 2012. A combination cover/QWERTY, the accessory protected the tablet while at the same time it provided a flat, formless keyboard to help users type faster on the Surface tablet. But a flat typing surface was not good enough for most, so Microsoft came up with the Surface Type Cover. The Type Cover comes with buttons and keys making it more of a legitimate QWERTY keyboard for Surface users. And yes, it can double as a cover.

The writing is on the wall. The iPad mini 4 is probably going to be the last iPad mini ever. Apple just announced iPad updates during its WWDC keynote. Both the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models are receiving major updates. In the meantime, the iPad mini feels like the neglected device in the iPad lineup, and it's now probably on life support.

The iPad Pro: Now a true photographer's tool
When Apple released the first 12.9-inch iPad Pro, I wondered if it was finally an iPad that photographers could embrace without also getting an armful of tradeoffs. The New iPad Pro Is Incredible, But Not Worth the Upgrade
The iPad has a problem that we should all wish to have: It's too damn good. The battery life and standby battery life are superb, the screen is pretty, the apps are nice, and the thing is powerful enough it can last for years. That's wonderful for all of us consumers, but it is not great for Apple or any other company building a tablet device.

Why the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a typing champ
If there's a defining quality to the iPad Pro, it's that the device seeks to go beyond the traditional touch interface of iOS to seek out additional ways of getting work done. For people who are comfortable with pencil, pen, and paper, the Apple Pencil brings a new dimension to using an iPad. And for those of us who are most comfortable with a keyboard beneath our fingers, the iPad Pro--with its Smart Keyboard, the first Apple keyboard designed for iOS--was a sign that Apple realizes that sometimes, even an iPad needs to behave a bit more like a laptop.
